Review Hotel Seidenhof Zurich Standard Double room, April 2025 😊 Location in shopping district, less touristy part of town yet still central, near trams, supermarket, big stores. Less restaurants in this area. 😊 Very friendly staff and competent service. 😊 Superior hotel breakfast! Good quality and good variety. 😊 Beautiful functional design in room features. Good use of space. Full mirror, mini ref, iron and board, hanger closet, yoga mat, seats and desk and table, USB plugs at bedside. Big window. Clean! 😊 Very good water pressure, well lighted bathroom 😊 German smart WC ! In a separate cubicle /room 💚 😉 Shower cubicle is at bathroom entryway, across a lovely lavatory vanity; then a door to WC. Bathroom will then be closed for privacy when someone is showering. 😊 Beautiful lobby, easy check-in and check-out. Took a cash deposit and easily returned upon check out. Fast elevators. Umbrellas were provided since it was rainy. 😉 No actual street drop-off, we just ask cab to park at the side lane and bring our luggage across the street. 😉 Room a bit tight if having 2 big luggages. 😊 Fruits and Nespresso inside room.

Spent two nights recently at the hotel, located in the heart of the main shopping street in Zurich. The main train station is less than 8 minutes away, so if you’re coming from the airport or going to it, it’s very well located. Breakfast was good but not impressive, breakfast coffee isn’t top notch and i didn’t like it at all. Receptionist were all very helpful, welcoming with a smile and their face. The room was small, but i booked a small on however i didn’t expect it to be this small compared to the price, it was clean and they regularly replaced the amenities. Overall a lovely experience, I’d recommend if you’re looking for a central location in zurich

Breakfast was a good variety of continental style and freshly cooked eggs. The food quality was high. Staff were professional and friendly. Hotel location was central, perfect for getting around Zürich on foot. We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel staff exceeded expectations by welcoming us with a half bottle of champagne, delicious fresh tiramisu and fruit in our room. The bed had been beautifully decorated with golden leaves in the shape of a heart along with a balloon in the word “love”. The most wonderful and very happy surprise. All staff at the hotel were professional, welcoming and friendly. Providing excellent service.

It is located right in the heart of the city but felt like a haven of peace. Our room was spacious with all the modern amenities you need and if we had had more time we would have taken the opportunity to try out the spa facilities. Most of all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Isaac on the reception could not have given us a better welcome and was so helpful in explaining where we could go and what to see. Other staff at breakfast or in the restaurant later were equally friendly and looked after us so well.

Its been a great expirience staying in this small but very cozy and nice city hotel. I loved everything about it since my early check in till late check out. The personal at reception was incredible kind and helpful without any terms and conditions I got checked in early morning, and my room was great clean and with all necessary facilities. None has disturbed me at all, with unnecesary services or etc.. 30 seconds from Bahnhofstrasse made my experience even more great. I will definitely come back here!
